Pat Quinn

I started CrossFit in 2013, received my L1 in 2017, and began coaching immediately after. I have always loved the gym. CrossFit reignited my passion for fitness. I love the heavy lifting and tolerate the cardio. 
I have a Bachelors degree in Business from the University of Wisconsin – Platteville.
When I’m not at the gym, I enjoy hanging out with my wife (and co-owner) Caitlyn, playing with our dogs (Apollo and Annie), hiking, golfing, biking, boating, and spending time with my family.

I first started CrossFit in 2016, and have been a coach since 2017. I love what CrossFit has done for my life in so many aspects, and I get so excited that I can share that passion with the world, in hopes they can thrive from the benefits of functional fitness as well!
When I am not hanging out at CFD, I love listening to music, watching movies, hanging out with friends, family, and my two giant pups.
If you are just beginning your fitness journey, my advice to you is to not get ahead of yourself, be sure to learn all parts of each movement before going too heavy. Take the time to feel good where you are at. Enjoy the moment you are in.

I have always been active and very passionate about fitness. I was a high school athlete, collegiate cheerleader, and then dabbled in bodybuilding and powerlifting.
I finally found a true passion with CrossFit in early 2018. Knowing that CrossFit was something I was going to pursue for life, I obtained my Level 1 Training Certificate in October 2018. Since then I have completed the CrossFit Gymnastics certification as well.
Outside of the gym I am a registered nurse, functional nutritional therapy practitioner, and restorative wellness practitioner. True optimal wellness includes the gym, but it also must include a nutritious diet and lifestyle!

I’ve been doing CrossFit since about 2015, and coaching since 2016. My favorite movements are deadlifts, and (believe it or not) my favorite workout is Karen…150 wall balls for time. When I’m not coaching I’m probably working on my house, working, or going on doggie play dates. One piece of advice I’d give to new CrossFitters is to keep track of your progress and try not to eat like total crap.
